During my Principal Residency I have done the following:
- I have been involved in the hiring process at MES since July.
- I started by being involved in interviews then moving on to facilitating the whole process from contacting candidates, leading the interviews, and telling candidates they got the job.
- I also assist with bringing on new staff and making sure they are comfortable and connected in their first weeks.
- For current staff, I have begun practicing the full NCEES evaluation process and will continue this work next semester.
- During my classes, we created a video to recruit teachers to North Carolina. My roles in the video were the editing, voice over, music and other graphics. CLICK HERE TO WATCH THE VIDEO!
